What is the Downloader code?
The TetoTV Downloader code is 5362071. Enter it in Downloader and select Go to download the APK. After installation and setup, open Settings → System → Check for updates and install any available update. The code’s APK may not be the latest build. See the code and current GitHub release on the homepage.
What is TetoTV?
TetoTV is a TV-first media library, playback, and tracking client for supported Android devices. It runs on the device and connects to services, sources, and personal libraries you choose. It is not a content subscription.
Which devices are supported?
The referenced build supports Android 7.0 or newer, including compatible Android TV, Google TV, phones, and tablets. Fire TV requires Fire OS 6 or newer. See Requirements before installing.
Do I need a computer or companion server?
Not for normal browsing and playback. Plex and Jellyfin require your own server only when you choose those integrations. Account linking and Watch Party use hosted coordination where needed.
Do I need a tracker or Debrid account?
No. Tracker connections and Debrid services are optional. Local profiles are available, and playback depends on the authorized source or library you configure.
What is a Debrid service?
A Debrid service is a third-party account-based service that can resolve supported links or provide cached media access. Subscription terms, source support, privacy, and performance vary. A subscription does not grant permission to access someone else’s copyrighted media, and buffer-free playback is not guaranteed.
Is TetoTV compatible with Seanime extensions?
Yes. TetoTV supports Seanime-format provider extensions through its built-in compatibility layer. Add your own compatible HTTPS repository and install supported providers directly in TetoTV. No separate Seanime installation or server is required.
Compatibility varies by provider and version; it does not mean every Seanime extension or plugin will work. See Seanime extension compatibility for setup details and the separate manga-preview support.
Which extension repositories work?
Use a user-supplied HTTPS repository in a supported catalog format. Adding a repository makes its compatible provider entries available to review; it does not automatically install them or guarantee they work. No repository is bundled, recommended, or endorsed. Read Add a repository.
Why can I find a title but not a stream?
Catalog metadata and playback sources are separate. The selected episode may not be available from your configured provider, or its configuration or authorization may need attention. Follow Missing sources.
Should I switch to Media3 for choppy playback?
It is an option to test, not a universal fix. Select Media3 (Built in), optionally enable Media3 SurfaceView, and reopen the same source to compare. Buffering caused by a network or source problem may remain. See Playback troubleshooting.
Why does the pairing page stop after I scan a QR code?
The code may have expired, the app prompt may have closed, or a browser setting may be blocking the flow. Start a fresh session, confirm internet access, and check a site-specific browser exception. Always compare the match number when it is shown.
Does Watch Party share the host’s stream?
No. Each participant uses their own authorized source or local video. The room coordinates timing and limited show/source context rather than relaying video or credentials.
Can I watch offline?
Yes, after a supported download finishes. Test the completed episode before going offline. Account authorization and online metadata may still need a connection; an unfinished queue is not an offline copy.
Why does my screen look different?
These screenshots are from Beta 2.0.74 and include phone-style captures. Layout, language, enabled features, device size, and later releases can change what you see. Use the section names rather than relying on a fixed tab number.
Where is the manga reader?
The repository describes an experimental manga reader under Developer Mode. It has separate source-format and privacy rules and is not covered by this screenshot walkthrough. See the official manga documentation.
