Beta
A testing release channel. Features, labels, and behavior may change, and release-specific disclosures still apply.
Debrid
An optional third-party service used to resolve supported links or access cached media. It is separate from your tracker and your source configuration.
Extension / provider
A compatible user-installed module that can search or resolve sources. Installing one is distinct from adding its repository.
Manifest
A structured configuration document. In this guide, a torrent source manifest describes a source integration; it is not an account login or a playable video itself.
Marketplace
The app’s interface for user-added repository catalogs and compatible provider entries. Listing an entry does not mean TetoTV endorses it.
Media3
The optional built-in Android playback engine. Its SurfaceView option changes its rendering path; it does not change MPV.
MPV
The default integrated playback engine in the referenced Beta build.
Pairing code / match number
A pairing code identifies a temporary setup session. A match number is a separate value to compare on both screens before approving the connection.
Local profile
A name stored on the device that lets you use TetoTV without a linked tracker. Do not assume all histories and settings are isolated between local names.
Repository
A user-supplied catalog address containing compatible extension entries. Adding it does not automatically install every provider in it.
Seanime-format extension
A provider extension written for Seanime’s extension format. TetoTV can run supported providers through its own compatibility layer, without a separate Seanime installation or server. Compatibility depends on the extension type and version. See Seanime extension compatibility.
Source
A particular media result, download, or personal-library item offered for playback. Availability depends on the selected episode and your configuration.
Tracker
An optional service such as AniList, MyAnimeList, or SIMKL for lists and watched-episode progress. It is not a streaming-content subscription.
Watch Party
A synchronized room in which each viewer plays their own authorized source or local video. The room coordinates playback rather than forwarding the host’s video.
